It was a beautiful Saturday evening in downtown Lancaster, NY as the Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Midgets and 4 cylinders all had heat and feature events to be run on the Dunn Tire Raceway Park 5/8ths mile oval.

The first feature of the evening was the TQ Midgets. 15 cars started the race with Wayne Turnbull on the pole. Turnbull and Lawrence battled for the lead spot, but Lawrence was able to get around Turnbull on lap 14. Dan Lawrence went on to win his first midget race of the year. Turnbull, Barber, Mapes and Collard rounded out the top 5.

The fast and furious 4 cylinders were up next. Tim Durfy got the lead early on but John Julicher Jr was charging through the field and got around Durf on a restart. John Julicher Jr. went onto win the race with Durfy, Haniszewski Sr, Druar and Wagner rounded out the top 5.

Due to the Chemung ROC race the next day, the Modified 50 lap feature was pushed up in the schedule. Bill Hebing started on the pole with Bill Mislin to his outside. On the start, Mislin and Scherrer hit the outside wall, causing a caution. On lap 3, Chris Risdale spun in turn 3. Hebing remained the leader, with Hossfeld and Fidanza behind him. On the restart, Chuck Hossfeld was able to get around Hebing. Once Chuck was in the lead, he received pressure from Erick Rudolph. Rudolph got around Putney, who he also battled for second with. Rudolph tried the high line to get around Hossfeld a couple times, but Hossfeld held him off and picked up the win. Chuck won, with Rudolph, Putney, Catalano and Hebing rounding out the top 5.

The street stock feature was up next. Ed Nowak started on the pole, with 26 cars behind him. Scott Mutka got the lead early. Mike Nash quickly moved to second and was able to squeeze by Mutka on lap 17 using lapped traffic to his advantage. John Hewson Jr. was able to run down Nash, but ran out of time. Nash won but was DQ'd after post race inspection. Hewson was credited with the win. Hewson got the win with Mutka, Mendel, Bryant and Julicher rounding out the top 5.

The SST Sportsman race was final on the card. Sherri Hogan started on the pole. 16 cars started the race. Nick Cappelli spun down the front stretch. Rudolph was able to once again pass all the cars, and get his 6th SST Sportsman win of the year. Putney, McGrath, Hoddick and Gian rounded out the top 5.

Driver of the Week poll Rules
The top 2 finishers in each division get put into the Driver of the Week poll. If a driver finishes in the top 2 in two divisions, we go to the third and forth drivers so there aren't any repeats in the poll. After a driver wins the Driver of the Week poll once, they aren't eligible for the remainder of the season. Poll winners get a picture of their car and sponsors on the Driver of the Week page on LancasterRacer.com
 Thanks, Mike Hossfeld.
